Based in the Western United States, the Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for sales of new and used snowmaking equipment, complete automatic snowmaking system development, and maintaining in-person optimum customer service with new and current customers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (to include but not limited to)

  • Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients in the Ski Industry
  • Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods
  • Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match product to the needs of customers
  • Negotiates prices, terms of sales, and/or service agreements; prepares contracts and submits orders
  • Collaborates with purchasing departments, managers, and other staff to confirm that orders are processed with accuracy and efficiency and that products are distributed properly
  • Prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to manager
  • Acts as liaison to coordinate information and service between the customer and the company
  • Install, inspect, maintain, operate, and/or repair equipment
  • Oversees and facilitates the delivery and installation of products
  • Answers inquiries and questions from customers related to ongoing use of products, maintenance requirements, operations, and other related information
  • Travel to locations to help the Demaclenko Service Team and or HTI Leitner Group companies to inspect, service , and repair equipment if requested.
  • Extensive weekly travel required


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of equipment, product, industry, and/or services provided to clients
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite


  • Previous Ski Industry experience
  • Bachelors’ Degree (Business, Communications or Marketing) or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of Mechanical experience
  • 2+ years of Electrical experience
  • Ability to work in the USA
  • Previous sales experience
  • English Proficiency
  • North American and European travel required.



Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 (depending on experience of candidate)
